Saturday, April 13th – 12-4pm
The animals are coming to town on Saturday April 13th when Wilton Shopping Centre hosts the Animal Roadshow in the shopping centre. The Animal Roadshow will be there to entertain young audiences with an array of animals including snakes, turtles, owls, chinchillas, tarantulas and lizards from 12-4pm.
A mini zoo will be taking over the Mall and there will be a visual display for people to come and look and handle the animals and have their pictures taken with them. Along with the excitement of meeting the animals, the event will provide children with a very worthwhile learning experience. There will be two reps available to help with handling of the animals and to chat with everyone. The display consists of various exotic creatures, all which can be handled including snakes, lizards, tortoises, rabbits/guinea pigs, owls and a Creepy Crawly Section (snails, spiders, scorpion and insects.)
The Animal Roadshow is free on the day to shoppers and any donations will be going to the very deserving charity, the Cork City Hospitals Children’s Club, which Wilton Shopping Centre are proud to have been associated with for a number of years.
The Animal Roadshow carry public liability and have
their animals vet checked regularly. Their reps are also trained in the
childcare sector and have a qualified special needs assistant on hand for these
events.
