In December 2019, Wilton Shopping Centre celebrated 40 years of business in Cork. Just over 3 months ago we could never have predicted such difficult times as we are experiencing now with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In regard to the Government’s announcement of the closure of non-essential retail, Wilton Shopping Centre will now become an even more important part of the vital services for the healthcare workers, the emergency service workers, and you, the people who are staying at home to save lives.
The following stores that meet the Government criteria of essential retail are as follows:
- Tesco
- Bishopstown Post Office
- Boots
- O’ Sullivan’s Pharmacy
- Here’s Health
- Holland and Barrett
- O’ Crualaoi’s Butchers
- Vodafone
- Three
- Eir
- Eurogiant
- Wicked Vapes
- Bank of Ireland
- KBC
- EBS
- Specsavers (emergency only)
All other stores will remain temporarily closed for the foreseeable future.

Once again Wilton Shopping Centre will be at the heart of the community, a community which will not let Covid-19 beat them.
